Pontiac GTO

#1 son is grieving over the demise of Pontiac. He's not alone. And he just doesn't understand how Buick could survive and Pontiac could not. 1. Buick remains because of strong(er) sales in China. Pontiac sales volume was bolstered tremendously by fleet/ rental car sales which GovernmentMotors believes they can shift to Chevy.

But, Pontiac was (since 1964) the testosterone muscle car dream factory. That simply had to be killed off as we move to a world of golf carts as autos. You will drive an underpowered, under-sized hybrid and like it, comrade.
