Video: Palin owns interview with Lauer

In case any Palin supporters out there have forgotten why they loved her last fall, a reminder here. She owns in this interview because she occupies the moral high ground and isn't afraid to speak from the heart.

Random observations:
Don't mess with those Palin women.
I wouldn't let any of my daughters near that dirty old man either.
Alas, instead of Sarah, we have a clown for VP.

Lauer has an anatomically difficult job. Talking out of both sides of his mouth at once cannot be easy.
Will liberals blame Letterman for inducing Americans to humanize Gov. Palin and her family? He may have, against his will, have contributed to saving the Republic.

Yes, it seems to me this has placed SP in a very sympathetic light. But I don't exactly have my finger on the pulse of public opinion when it comes to Sarah. I predicted certain victory for the GOP when she was picked by McCain. :-/

Media reactions like these http://www.newsy.com/videos/comedy_vs_news_how_far_is_too_far are giving too much attention to a joke. Comedians, like playwrights and authoers are social commentators who are making entertainment out of events like this. The media is the one making it a huge deal. Think it would be a big deal if this were about a Hollywood star's daughter?

This wasn't about comedy, this was about a lecherous old creep taking a shot at a politician he doesn't like by attacking her daughters.
