It was designed to spur demand and get people spending again and cushion those who had borne the brunt of the crisis. And it was designed to save jobs and create new ones.

In a little over one hundred days, this Recovery Act has worked as intended.

Huh. So the billions of dollars Recovery Act was to stop a free fall that wasn't happening yet, but would've, but it didn't because the Recovery Act worked? And it "saved" jobs that would've been lost but weren't?

Did it also prevent a hostile takeover by leprechauns and unicorns that would've happened but didn't because the Recovery Act was successful?

Thank you Obama, for saving us.
