CNN reports that Hasan is paralyzed

Alleged Fort Hood shooter paralyzed from waist down, lawyer says

"It appears he won't be able to walk in the future," said Hasan's civilian attorney, retired Army Col. John Galligan.

Hasan also has severe pain in his hands, the attorney said.

  3. While I hope that the Jihadist Hasan suffers as much as possible, I have two fears...

    1) If convicted in a military court, he may be able to avoid the death penalty because of his condition; and

    2) After what Attorney General Eric Holder-In-Contempt announced today, the Jihadist Hasan [can't stress this enough] might be tried in the civilian courts.

    I wouldn't put anything past this crew.
