Bye Bye Barney?

A prediction from a reader/friend:

Short of election fraud, free dinner coupons at Red Lobster for democrat voters or a free ticket to Patriots football games I think Bielat pulls it off, Jill.
http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/eyeon2010/2010/10/boston-globe-poll-barney-frank.html
"But Bielat, a retired Marine, led among independents, 41 percent to Frank's 26 percent. Almost half of Bielat's supporters, 46 percent, said they were "excited about November," compared to just 33 percent of Frank's backers who gave the same answer."
Bielat predicts victory, too, pointing out that the Globe showed Scott Brown down 15 points a week before his 6-point win. Bielat is a practically perfect candidate. And there must be more than a few Massachusetts voters who wouldn't mind seeing Barney go away, though they may not be inclined to say it out loud. Stay tuned.

  3. Jill,

As you know, I fear HUGE voter fraud and corrupt election officials. My son and I are going through the American Revolution in a school lesson and studying the lead up to the war from about the end of the French/Indian wars to 1776. The issues that the confronted the early dissenters are very much the same as the ones we face today. The early organizations that complained to the Crown about the conditions varied, but the biggest and most famous was the Sons of Liberty. The core group in that organization, which consisted of common businessmen and leaders forming small committees in their local communities, formed the heart of the voice that gave us the Declaration and the Constitution. They argued what the Tea Party argues today.

That said, I feel the dems will do what they must to win, including cheating, lying and stealing. They have no respect for the nation so why do you think they have any respect for the election process? Here is my post.

It took fifteen years or so for the peaceful complaints to turn to revolution. At any time King George could have stopped it, but his desire to rule overwhelmed his sense of caution.

    Sound familiar?
