From the presidential planner, we learn that Obama will be hunkering down today:
After a weekend of campaigning in four states President Obama will spend Election eve behind-closed-doors at the White House today.
And he thought it was rough then. Now he's brought his party into "uncharted territory." See Jay Cost: Hulk Angry! Hulk Smash!
Predictions, anyone?
Yeah, I know. I had to rub my eyes and look a second time. I could barely believe it.
A victory of 15 points suggests Republican gains well in excess of my previous estimate of 61 seats. The Abramowitz model suggests a pickup of about 76 seats, but I wouldn’t take that at face value. After all, there is a great deal of uncertainty because we are dealing with unprecedented results, which Gallup is quick to acknowledge. A Republican vote margin of 15 points would more than double the party’s 1994 victory and it is about double its 1946 victory. In fact, you have to go all the way back to 1928 to find an election where the popular vote margin resembled anything close to what Gallup is predicting.

Here is my prediction: the Democrats that are NOT thrown out (about 150) will change their underwear at least twice tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the numbers are unlike any I've seen in a while.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow's a big day.
I am with Rush - this will be like the unprecedented 1894 election. Blowout beyond any poll predictions.
ReplyDeleteMy $.02. :D
I'm worried about the voter fraud that's going on at an alarming rate, but I think we're going to kick butt tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI predict America will win tomorrow and tyranny will suffer a devastating setback.

As a frequent poll-ee(?), I can attest that the questions asked are sometimes skewed and my replies really didn't give my true opinion.
ReplyDeleteFor instance, MrsO has a positve rating in the polls but do you know anyone who thinks she's a great FirstLady?
MsO'Donnell and her quest for the USSenate has been slaughtered in the MSM and a poll-ee might not want to admit that they're actually voting for her to avoid ridicule.
Prediction: GOP 75seats in Congress, 11seats in the Senate.
I think it is going to be more along the lines of 55 seats in the house and about 7 in the senate. I think some people have gotten a little over excited. Far too many people don't pay attention to politics and sadly, some will go into the voting both tomorrow not really understanding who the candidates are and what they are voting for. Look at Jim Moran, even the dems in his district don't like him yet he has been there for 20 years.
ReplyDeleteI hope George Soros, Harry Reid, Nancy P. don't count the votes.
ReplyDeleteJill:
ReplyDeletespeaking of Moron - he was at the Huntington Metro station this morning and didn't take too kindly to the Murray volunteer.
He went off on the poor person with a profanity laced tirade. When he finished he sent his son to finish the job.
They are looking to try and get video or witnesses that saw this.
Get the word out to anyone who may have been at that metro station this morning. I don't know the time, but it was during the morning rush and happened before the Plante show. Murray was on Plante this morning and discusses this. There is a reward for video.
58 house seats and 8 Senate seats.
ReplyDeleteI think a few will be contested and disputed because of alleged voter fraud because dems can't seem to accept they are being rejected.
