The lovely young mother who used her toddler as a human shield at the Washington Convention Center the other night shows up again in another ugly Occupy video:
Hat tip to Jonah Goldberg, who like the rest of us is running out of words to describe these people: "You start losing adjectives at some point."

It's painful to ponder what life must be like for children in these camps, living in squalor amidst constant drumming, foul-mouthed chanting, violent madmen, public defecation, rats, lice, lewdness, drug use, sexual assaults, and so on. If you're so inclined say a prayer for these kids.

Count on Mayor Bloomberg to get it all completely wrong:

I tweeted that Occupy camps are not healthy for children and other living things. Space didn't allow for the exceptions: rats, lice, STDs, and E. coli.
Many thanks to Michelle Malkin for the Buzzworthy link.

"We watch very carefully and they generally do not break the law," Bloomberg said on MSNBC. "I would prefer that we open up the park and begin to let people come through. The park ...is not necessarily designed for sleeping."Yes. Except for the overdoses, rapes, child endangerment, vermin, public pooping and peeing, and their goals, these two movements have a great deal in common.
However, Bloomberg indicated the protesters would be allowed to stay for now. Previously he has defended protesters' First Amendment right to express themselves.
"They say, 'We don't know what we want but we want it now,'" he said. "But that's just as good a way of saying it as anything. ... They express it by camping out and yelling and and screaming."
Bloomberg said he does not know if the protests are a "movement" because there is no leader. "It's the same thing with the Tea Party," he noted.

I'm surprised that DFS isn't all over them. Not that THAT would really help the poor kids.......Shameful and completely unnecessary. How long till they start strapping bombs to their children? Is that paranoia?
ReplyDeleteI read of a case in which a child did get taken from parents. Very sad:

There was also a case of a kid who was given a dangerous amount of alcohol by some OWSer and taken to the hospital:

Why the people of New York City, who have had THEIR rights to peacefully live their lives TAKEN from them in favor of exempting the occupy savages from the laws that everybody else has to follow, put up with it and don't demand that Bloomy be removed from office is beyond my understanding. They must LIKE the abuse. Wait till the lawsuits start rolling in, and they will.

Lawyers are going to have a field day with this.
Kicking the "brothers" back onto the Dem plantation is getting more blatant every month. I thought white people rolling oreos at Michael Steele was the nadir - wrong.
ReplyDeleteHow many more decades before the majority of blacks catch on?
