He wants religion returned to “the public square,” is opposed to contraception, premarital sex and abortion under any circumstances, wants children educated in what amounts to little red schoolhouses and called President Obama a “snob” for extolling college or some other kind of post-high school education. This is not a political platform. It’s a fatwa.Et cetera.

ReplyDeleteMy daughters told me that Mean Girls was really funny; I had no idea it was this funny . . .and in drag.
ReplyDeletePeople who went to little red schoolhouses learned to read, spell, do math, and other um, useless stuff like that. Often from a 16-year-old teacher who'd taken a six-month course to qualify. But today life is more complex: we need a huge federal bureaucracy and spend billions in order to produce students who end up like the average Occupy protestor, or (worse) Obama.
