Some enterprising types in China have found a profitable use for that country's super-abundance of tiny corpses:
Thousands of pills filled with powdered human flesh have been discovered by customs officials in South Korea, it was revealed today.Still-born? Riiight.
The capsules are in demand because they are viewed as being a medicinal 'cure-all'.
The grim trade is being run from China where corrupt medical staff are said to be tipping off medical companies when babies are aborted or delivered still-born.
There have been disturbing reports that some babies were those who had perished in China's notorious 'dying rooms' where youngsters are deliberately left to die because they were born into families that already had the limit of one child in country areas. You've probably already guessed what dead-baby pills supposedly "cure":
A report in the Global Times, a tabloid published by the official People’s Daily, said the human flesh pill were used to enhance sexual performance. But of course. It's like the circle of life. Well, not life, exactly, but with 13 million abortions a year, dead baby is definitely a renewable resource.
But there is a caveat. ABC News wants you to know that ingesting babies that have been diced, dried, and ground into a powder might be harmful to your health if they are not prepared "in a hygienic fashion." So please, be a wise consumer.
Matthew Archbold:
But let’s say that it turned out that dead baby pills were actually awesome for something. Let's posit that as a given for a sec. Say the pills stopped wrinkles. How much you want to bet nursery schools would become empty pretty quick, if you know what I mean. Or let’s just say that dead baby pills cured some terrible disease. Let’s say it worked like a charm and without side effects (other than dead baby). How many of us in America today would stand against it? I’m betting the number would be smaller than you think. Who wants to bet?Not I.
Mark Steyn:
The Daily Mail report contains, en passant, the statistic that 38 per cent of women of childbearing age have been sterilized. As I always say, China’s problem is that it will get old before it gets rich: You can’t have your babe and eat it.Please read the rest.

ReplyDeleteWell, how many Americans are/were opposed to using aborted babies for stem-cell cures that never panned out? How many would make different choices if they knew that many childhood vaccines are made using aborted fetal cells?
This is one scary world.
Let's see, China grinds dead babies into a powder for sexual prowess. And Chinese human rights activist Chen Guangcheng remains safely, if ambiguously, in limbo, but he said his family has been subjected to vicious beatings. ReplyDeleteBut don't worry, we're saving the planet with clean cookstoves!
"China has joined the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves during a tour of a clean cookstove exhibit with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in Beijing today (May 3, 2012).

Thank goodness we can all rest easy with our moral beacon of foreign policy!
Also, let's not forget one of our top foreign policy priorities, LGBT rights:
