Photo: Empty media seats at Gosnell trial

I think this says it all. JD Mullane, columnist for the Bucks County Courier Times, tweeted early this morning:

Dave Weigel, Slate reporter, MSNBC contributer, formerly of the Washington Post, tweeted this last night:

That's one impressive bubble. Not only didn't he read Mark Steyn in 2011 or in 2013, but he missed his own Slate's Will Saletan, who wrote several pieces about Gosnell in 2011. But I believe Mr. Weigel is sincere and I anticipate a story not only about the sickening horrors but perhaps something about the filter that's keeping this story from becoming national. (Hint: "sick and totalitarian")

Though to some it's just one big politically-inconvenient "Meh":
I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she hasn't read this, this, this, this, or this:

If that still rates a "meh," then I guess we know what we're dealing with.

  1. Well, you have to understand..."WOMEN" are more important than some "woman."

  2. So, according to Ms. M. C. Bryne, "reproductive health care for women" includes a right to commit infanticide. Remember that when you hear some liberal idiot slobbing about the Republicans war on "reproductive health care for women."

  3. So I wonder how @mcbyrne feels about the crime committed in Newtown, CT being used to attack gun rights. I'm sure she feels that story shouldn't have been nationalized, right?

    1. Oh, I forgot that the murder of George Tiller was just a local issue too.

  4. Oh yes, the murder of children is just so, "Meh."

    1. Oh didn't you get the memo? Children are only important so long as they are gunned down in a way that allows one to advance their personal political agenda.
