Steyn: The Collapsing of the American Skull

It's Saturday and that means another vitally important column from Mark Steyn. The Collapsing of the American Skull rates up there among his best. I'll refrain from ruining it for you with a bunch of excerpts. But I'd like to thank Mark for including a couple of my comments on Kermit Gosnell in his syndicated column. The alleged infanticidal maniac's habit of collapsing fully-born infants' skulls for no practical reason is a detail which, as far as I know, did not come up in the trial and hasn't been picked up on by other commentators.

Even more thanks to Mark for continuing to write about the Gosnell horror and its cultural significance. It can't be fun, and Steyn fans know there are plenty of things he could be writing about and doing that are a lot more enjoyable than describing and analyzing the sub-human, deranged crimes of a blood-soaked monster and the sick culture that enabled him.

Closing arguments are scheduled for Monday.

If you've missed any of Steyn's commentary on Gosnell, here are some links to read and pass on:

Baby Talk
Meh . . .
The Mass Murderer Who Didn't Make the Mass Media
The Sell-Out Crowd

Big Government's Back Alley

One more thank you to Mark for linking to my Gosnell posts in many of his own.
